Hear readings and take part in an informal discussion with two up-and-coming young German writers, Louise Kenn and Mücahit Türk, as they launch their month‑long literary journey across the United States at UNLV.  They will offer a distinctive cross‑cultural glimpse into contemporary German literature. The event takes place in the framework of the current Thomas Mann "Democracy Will Win" Exhibit presented in cooperation with the Thomas Mann House.

At each stop of their road trip, the writers share their experiences and reflections offering personal insights into the people, places, exchanges, and perspectives they are gathering throughout their journey.
