Description
Student Wellness' Gender Care Team is hosting a mini-convention of Queer-focused sexual health workshops for LGBTQ+ folx and allies. This event will be made up of four 45-minute sessions. Lunch, drinks, and snacks will be provided.
Tentative Schedule
- 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. – Walking The Talk: Stories and Pictures from the LGBTQ+ Activist Community in '90's Orange County, California, with a special focus on the obvious and not so obvious impact of AIDS
- 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. – Sexual Health and Sexually Transmitted Infections
- 12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. – Sex Beyond the Binary: Sex for Trans Folx, Non-binary Folx, and Cisgender Partners
- 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. – Consensual Non-Monogamy and Communication in Polyamorous Relationships
Admission Information
Open to all UNLV students, staff, and faculty. Guests are invited to attend all sessions, but may attend any session or part of any session that interests them or works for their schedule.
