Critically acclaimed and award-winning jazz pianist Christian Jacob’s style embodies the spirit of Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck and Keith Jarrett. Born in Lorraine, France, the nine-year-old Jacob was bit hard and fast by the Dave Brubeck Quartet’s ‘Take Five’ and never looked back. Maynard Ferguson described Jacob as a genius and virtuoso. The New York Times, Jazz Times, and Keyboard magazine heaped high praise on Jacob, and Jazz Times lauded him “a post-bop modernist touched by the souls of Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett.”
