The fall 2023 Professors' Circle Series will focus on how to best serve first-generation students attending UNLV. Part One: Moving First-Gen Forward

This presentation will provide an overview of the status of first-generation students at UNLV and explain the newly acquired First Scholars Network designation received from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). Facilitated by Harriet E. Barlow and Ana Marrero, executive and assistant directors of The Intersection.
Part Two: Serving First-Gens at an R1 Minority-Serving Institution

This presentation will be facilitated by Doris Watson, professor of educational psychology and higher education, and Blanca Rincon, associate professor of educational psychology and higher education.
