About the Site

Opportunity Village is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Southern Nevada. Through employment training, day programs, and community-based services, Opportunity Village empowers participants to build independence, develop job skills, and engage meaningfully with their community.

Service Activities

Volunteers will assist with hands-on projects that support Opportunity Village’s programs and daily operations. Tasks may include assembling materials, organizing workspaces, preparing supplies, or supporting light production or packaging activities. Volunteers may work individually or in small groups and will be assigned specific tasks by site staff.

Important Information

This is an indoor service site. Volunteers should be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and working respectfully alongside program participants and staff. All volunteers must follow site guidelines to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Transportation

Limited transportation may be available for select sites, with additional details to come. Carpooling is strongly encouraged to help support smooth transportation for all volunteers.
