Join The Office of Student Diversity Programs for a workshop on anti-racism. If you're interested in learning more about anti-racism, looking to hone in on your community organizing skills, or looking to find your people, come join us! Dinner will also be provided.
Workshop Facilitators
- Rev. Dr. Letiah Fraser identifies as a proud African American woman who lives with Cerebral Palsy. She is the postor of The Open KC, an organizer with the KS Poor People's Campaign, A National Call for Moral Revival, a hospital chaplain at a local trauma hospital, and a disability rights advocate.
- Nick Pickrell is an activist and trainer in Kansas City, the co-founder of The Open Table Antiracism Training, and a board member of Cherith Brook Catholic Worker. He has over 10 years experience doing anti-poverty, anti-racism, and nonviolent communication work.
