Non-Tenure Track Gatherings (NTTGs)
Office/Remote Location
Description
This month’s topic: Discussion with the Ombuds.
The UNLV Ombuds, David Schwartz, Ph.D., is spending some time with us to demystify the ombuds office. Please join us for one of the two online sessions to learn about the ombuds office and discuss how we can best address and seek to resolve your NTT issues and concerns.
What are NTTGs?
The Teaching & Learning Commons hosts a community for non-tenure track instructional faculty at UNLV, including Faculty-in-Residence, part-time instructors (PTIs), lecturers, and postdoctoral scholars. The gatherings center on themes and topics chosen and led by members of this community.
The Community will meet in-person throughout the year at a day/time determined by the group both in-person and on Zoom. The aim is to foster community and to support NTT in sharing resources, challenges, and experiences specific to the NTT experience–all within a safe and supportive space. If you are interested, please let us know by registering.
