Description
Academic faculty members who are new to UNLV, as well as those who want an inspirational boost, are invited to a panel discussion: Strategies for Enhancing Your Productivity in Research, Creative Activity, and Teaching. A panel of current faculty members will share insights on effective time management, aligning efforts with promotion goals, leveraging campus resources, and sustaining focus amid competing demands. The discussion draws from concepts in the NCFDD webinar How to Develop a Daily Writing Practice. It is strongly recommended that attendees view the webinar to get the most out of the discussion.
This session will be followed by a reception for new faculty and panelists from the fall sessions.
The New Faculty Academy is a year-long series of sessions developed by the Office of Faculty Affairs to support new academic faculty in their first year. Taking place at various locations across the Maryland campus, the Academy features insights from current faculty, opportunities to network with peers, and access to supplemental resources from NCFDD, a leader in higher education development.
