Description

Academic faculty members who are new to UNLV, as well as those who want an inspirational boost, are invited to a panel discussion: Prioritizing Your Time as a Faculty Member.

A panel of current faculty members will discuss practical strategies for managing time and energy across teaching, research, and service. Panelists will share personal insights on setting priorities, navigating high demand & activity periods, and establishing sustainable habits that align with personal and professional goals. The discussion draws from topics in the NCFDD webinar Mastering Academic Time Management. It is strongly recommended that attendees view the webinar to get the most out of the discussion.

The New Faculty Academy is a year-long series of sessions developed by the Office of Faculty Affairs to support new academic faculty in their first year. Taking place at various locations across the Maryland campus, the Academy features insights from current faculty, opportunities to network with peers, and access to supplemental resources from NCFDD, a leader in higher education development.
