Join representatives from the UNLV MFA Art program for this virtual information session.

The UNLV Department of Art invites artists to apply for the Fall 2024 MFA Program in Art. The three-year MFA is studio-based and research-focused with an emphasis on creative practice, interdisciplinarity, community engagement, and professional development. The deadline to apply is Feb. 1, 2024.

Our information session will discuss the personal and professional benefits of graduate education at UNLV, the MFA Art program, and the graduate school application process. We will also discuss how to apply for a Graduate Assistantship which provides a tuition waiver, health insurance, and an annual stipend.

Our presentation will be immediately followed by a Q&A session with Wendy Kveck (Department of Art Graduate Coordinator), Katie B Funk (second year MFA candidate and Graduate Program Assistant), and current MFA Art students.
