This Master of Music percussion recital features works by Russell Wharton, Michael Burritt, Caleb Pickering, Gene Koshinski, Emmanuel Séjourné, and Nebojša Živković, showcasing the wide expressive and technical range of contemporary percussion. The program moves between lyrical marimba passages, intricate multi-percussion textures, and rhythmically vibrant, energetic works. Guest performers Nick Berkey and Alexander Felix perform in select pieces to bring collaborative energy to the performance. This recital highlights the creativity, versatility, and expressive power of modern percussion music.

Parking

Attendees are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage.  Parking is free Fridays after 1 p.m.; Monday through Thursday after 7 p.m.; and all day Saturdays and Sundays. During these times, visitors may park in any staff, student, or visitor space free of charge. Please observe handicapped/disabled, reserved, resident, and emergency parking restrictions at all times.
