It's Just Coffee is a series of meet-ups - approximately once a month - for students to practice their dialogue skills in a low-stakes environment. This series is hosted by the office of Service Learning & Leadership as a personal and professional development opportunity for students.

This event brings together diverse perspectives to dialogue about a complex topic through sharing of viewpoints, listening openly, and working to understand each other. The goal is not consensus, it is shared learning.

No topic expertise is required to participate, and there will be a dialogue facilitator and topic guide to assist all participants. And of course, there will be coffee (and tea and snacks)!

This session will ask, "How do we balance free speech and inclusivity on campus?"
