Description

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces foundational programming concepts using Python. We'll begin with a short discussion on why Python is a valuable skill for students and how it can support your academic and professional work. Over the course of two sessions, you’ll gain hands-on experience with Python while learning key programming principles and best practices.

By the end of the workshops, learners will be exposed to:

  • Basic Syntax
  • Data Types
  • Variables
  • Conditional Statements
  • Python Libraries

Learners are not expected to have significant previous coding experience prior to attending. We will be using Google CoLab for this workshop, which requires a Google account.
