This workshop will describe the process of developing impactful research topics intended to help shape public policy conversations. It will offer strategies on how to approach the research process, starting with small concepts or blog posts and building up to a larger project that could produce multiple studies. Tips and insights will be offered from the presenter's experience working at Brookings for 10 years and helping dozens of interns to identify and lead mini research projects in education policy.
