Description
Come help sort food with HELP of Southern Nevada! Students will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the SU first-floor Eating Bar. Service will be from 8-11 a.m.
Transportation and food will be provided.
Volunteers will sort nonperishable canned/boxed food donations and check expiration dates in preparation for distribution. HELP assists approximately individuals and families with groceries and frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving. Volunteers should be able to stand and walk for the entire shift, and lift up to 25 pounds. Casual, comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended.
Volunteers will be eligible to earn three hours of service credit.
