Description

The Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) registry provides unique, persistent, non-proprietary identifiers for researchers, creators, and contributors of all types. Your ORCID iD moves with you throughout your career, improving attribution and visibility of your grants, research, scholarship, and creative and entrepreneurial activities.

This hands-on virtual workshop will help you understand the benefits of ORCID and how to populate your profile and maximize its impact.

Christina Miskey, Scholarly Communication Librarian for Research Infrastructure, will walk you through the benefits of having your researcher IDs, specifically ORCID iDs, help you create an ORCID profile (if you don’t already have one), and assist you with populating your ORCID profile with your background, research, and other scholarly activity.
