Description
Watch Fritz Lang’s 1931 masterwork film M, during this week’s film class, and see for yourself why M remains the blueprint for the psychological thriller even today. The film merges social commentary with chilling suspense, creating a panorama of private madness and public hysteria. In a brief introductory lecture, you’ll learn more about Lang’s distinct style and how German cinema pioneers like Lang made major technical and artistic contributions to early film that you may recognize in current Hollywood directors.
