Department of Art Faculty Exhibition 2021
The Donna Beam Gallery is pleased to present the UNLV Department of Art Faculty Exhibition 2021, which is our opening exhibition of the 2021-22 academic year. The Donna Beam Gallery is again presenting in-person exhibitions after the past many months of the pandemic triggered closure. The department faculty work within a practice of inquiry and discovery, which in turn is fostered in the classroom. This exhibition shares with the viewer some of the recent artwork of the faculty that has come of the pandemic and other distinctive inquiries.
These artists produce artwork within a range of media which includes painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, neon, digital formats, video, and graphic design. Each faculty member follows their unique explorations, and though seemingly diverse at first glance, their research serves the greater goal of broadening student perspectives of the ever-developing nature of art.
Exhibiting artists include: Tim Bavington, Frederic Bonin-Pissaro, Emily Budd, Jeff Burden, Cara Cole, Kay Leigh Farley, Michael Fong, Wendy Kveck, Tiffany Lin, Pasha Rafat, Dave Rowe, Sang Seo and Sean Slattery.
Please remember, Nevada and CDC guidelines mandate that masks be worn when indoors. Help stop the spread!
