Join us for a full day of connection, reflection, and community as we honor Denim Day on April 29.
The Care Center is hosting a series of free activities throughout the day to support victim-survivors while promoting education, prevention, and a safer campus. Learn more about the meaning behind Denim Day and take part in spaces designed for healing, creativity, and conversation.
Itinerary:
10 a.m. | Sips & Self-Discovery
Start your day with a cup of coffee and guided journaling! Explore prompts centered on support, intention-setting, and meaningful moments of connection. In partnership with UNLV Project Wellness.
11 a.m. | Healing in Motion: Yoga Session
Take a moment to reset and reconnect through a calming, guided yoga session. Grab free yoga session vouchers!
12 p.m. | Let’s Taco ’Bout Respect: Lunch & Trivia
We'll be providing Chipotle during lunch while testing your knowledge on consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention. Prizes available for top participants. In partnership with Care Advocates.
1:30 p.m. | Art for Advocacy
Engage in creative activities such as bracelet making, bookmark decor, button making, and more. Contribute to collaborative art pieces and learn more about Denim Day and Care Center resources. In partnership with the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art.
