DASH is one of the longest-running, key signature programs here at UNLV. Join UNLVolunteers as we build peanut butter and jelly sandwiches lunch bags to hand out during the community lunch hour at the Salvation Army!

We will be meeting at the first floor of the Student Union (near the eating bar) at 11:15 a.m. to begin our meal prep shift. Volunteers will participate in a short educational activity followed immediately by preparing lunch bags to hand out at the Salvation Army. After the program, we hope participants will take their involvement to the next level by seeking other ways to do service and seeking to provide long-term solutions to social inequalities such as food and housing insecurity.
