As MyUNLV graduation applications are now open for Spring 2025, Summer 2025 and Fall 2025, please encourage your graduate and professional students to attend Countdown to Commencement, an event designed to answer their questions about the commencement ceremony and conferral process.

 When: Thursday, February 13, 2025 from noon - 1:30 p.m.

• 12 – 12:15 p.m.: Check-in and pizza
• 12:15 p.m.: Info session starts
• 1 – 1:30 p.m.: Resource Fair (featuring Career Services & UNLV Alumni Association)

Many students have concerns about the graduation ceremony, degree conferrals, and other important details—this event will ensure they have the information they need to prepare for their big day.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing students to participate in person or via Zoom. Pizza will be provided for in-person attendees.

Faculty members are also welcome to join! If you plan to attend, please RSVP so we can include you in the headcount and send the meeting link if you’re joining virtually.
