Join the UNLV Photo Club for the opening reception of The Cortex, an exhibition exploring the connections between photography, memory, and personal experience. The show features work inspired by a memory that has stayed with the artist, whether a specific moment, a person, a place, a feeling, or an experience. Come meet the artists, see how each photographer has translated a personal memory into an image, and enjoy an evening of conversation about the power of photography to hold on to the past.
The UNLV Photo Club, also known as The Digital Darkroom in the Involvement Center, hosts meetups, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase members’ work. Anyone interested in photography is welcome to attend.
