Description
This webinar series is based on newly published book, Ground-Truths: Community-Engaged Research for Environmental Justice. This webinar includes two presentations on the value of community-engaged research for environmental justice organizing and advocacy.
One of the presenters of this webinar is Erika Marquez from the School of Public Health, who co-wrote a chapter in the book focused on the community-engaged research process. She will describe critical issues that arise in each stage of the community-engaged research process and how researchers and their community partners can negotiate them successfully.
