Students interested in studying abroad and working for the federal government upon graduation are invited to join us to learn more about the Boren Awards! Boren Scholars (undergraduate students) and Boren Fellows (graduate students) are from diverse fields of study and immerse themselves in the cultures in world regions underrepresented in study abroad. Boren Awards alumni have gone on to work in positions critical to U.S. national security throughout the Federal Government, including the Departments of State, Defense, and Homeland Security, and USAID.
