Description

“Grit and Sensitivity” focuses on a variety of methods employed in the printmaking process. A few of the artists represented in the exhibition are involved with a careful and sensitive process in the development of the print, while others take a much more tactile and ’gritty’ approach. Artists in the exhibition include Dana Frankfort, Takuji Hamanaka, Christopher Hawthorne,Mel Kendrick, Carrie Moyer, Richard Ryan, Barbara Takenaga and Roger Tibbetts. Additionally, collaboration is an important aspect of the printmaking process when artist and print studio work together in the production of an edition.

This exhibition is presented in conjunction with the Southern Graphics Council, International 2018 Annual Conference held in Las Vegas.

Gallery hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm; Saturday, 12 to 5pm. Closed Sundays and holidays.
