Congratulations, you've been offered an academic job! Now what? This workshop from the Academic Job Search Demystified series will uncover the art of negotiating academic positions. In this session, we will discuss essential insights for understanding and maximizing academic job offers, including salary negotiations, benefits packages, and other critical components. Expert panelists with experience in academia will demystify the negotiation process and help you prepare, with the confidence and skills needed, to secure the best possible terms as you move forward in your academic career.

By participating in this workshop students will:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the various components of an academic job offer.
  • Learn how to professionally navigate the intricacies of academic job offer negotiations.
