About
The certificate trains participants in Philosophy for Children pedagogy in preparation for work in preschools, K-12 school systems, and in community centers serving children and youth. The certificate also provides training for conducting original academic research at the intersection of philosophy and education.

Learning Outcomes
- Design K-12 lesson plans that focus on using philosophical approaches, abstract questions, and structured reasoning to answer questions
- Facilitate philosophical inquiry in K-12 classrooms that allows students to explore complex philosophical questions
- Present independent research on philosophy topics and demonstrate how these topics can be used in the classroom.
