Spring 2026 Group Offerings

LGBTQ+ Support Group

A group for students looking to give and accept support, share resources, and discuss topics related to sexuality, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationships, and coping with living in a heteronormative environment.

GPS Navigation: Graduate and Professional Student Support Group

This group provides an online space to share experiences and concerns of being a graduate or professional student at UNLV. Members may find new ways to relate to one another and receive feedback, and support from multiple perspectives, while addressing possible topics like imposter syndrome, self-doubt, lack of belonging, isolation and loneliness, work-life balance, relationship stressors, multiple responsibilities, feeling stuck, and job market concerns.

In My Feels: Understanding Emotions

We all get in our feels every now and then. It is important to remember that emotions don’t have to be our enemies, but data for us to use as an everyday guide! Join our 5-week long group and learn how to notice emotions, understand them, cope with them, and communicate them.

Grief and Loss Group

This 8-week process group provides UNLV students with a supportive and consistent space to explore grief and loss in community. Through shared experiences, guided discussion, psychoeducation, and coping skills, students will develop a deeper understanding of their grief, learn to navigate daily challenges, and find ways to honor personal and cultural traditions of loss.

Men’s Support Group

This group offers a safe, supportive space for men to connect, share experiences, and tackle challenges unique to their identity. Whether it is managing stress, relationships, academics, or emotional growth, this group will provide them support, opportunities to give and receive feedback, and connection with other male peers.

Self-Compassion Group

This group helps students by developing compassion for oneself and others. This group will explore what self-compassion is, how to build a healthier relationship with oneself and others. While this group would likely benefit most students, it would especially help students high in self-criticism and shame.

Relationship Bootcamp

Curious about matters of the heart? Whether you are in a romantic relationship, want one, or want to get rid of one, this is the spot for you.
