We look forward to welcoming you to UNLV this fall! To help prepare for your arrival on campus, please read the following information regarding parking permits.
Parking permits for the 2026-2027 academic year are now on sale through the parking portal. All students who park on campus are required to have a permit. Visit the Parking & Transportation Services website for a complete list of permit options and pricing.
The Parking Portal Instructions webpage has information about how to log in to the system and complete your purchase. When purchasing your permit, be prepared with the following information for all vehicles associated with your account:
- License plate number
- Vehicle information (make, model, year, and color)
UNLV uses a virtual parking permit system, which means your license plate is your permit. This makes it important that the license plate numbers listed in the parking portal are accurate. If you have a specialty plate with vertical letters preceding the numbers, be sure to include them.
License plates must be visible from the drive aisle when parked. If you prefer to back your car into a parking space and do not have a front license plate, you must display a parking decal. Back-in decals cost $5.
Email Parking & Transportation Services or call 702-895-1300 with any questions or to purchase a parking decal.
EV Charging
Permit holders who utilize UNLV charging stations during weekday hours (Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) have the option of purchasing an EV endorsement as an add-on to their regular parking permit or paying a per-hour charging rate. EV charging on campus after-hours and on weekends incurs a per kWh fee for everyone, even those with an EV endorsement. Visit the Electric Vehicles website for more information.
Thank you and have a great semester!
