The Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art has been awarded a Young Rebels Mini-Grant, thanks to our Manager of Museum Community Engagement and Outreach, Dr. Zida Wang.

 

The Museum will use the grant to fund a two-week summer camp. UNLV NextGen Curators: Virtual Museum of Community, Identity & Creativity will be an immersive camp designed for high school students interested in art, technology, storytelling, and creative innovation. Hosted by the Museum in collaboration with faculty from UNLV Fine Arts, Engineering, and Communication Studies, this program will introduce students to the exciting world of digital museum curation and exhibition design.
