Sep. 29, 2026

UNLV is approaching two important milestones in our transition to Workday Learning and Workday Performance, the university’s new employee learning and performance management systems.

Workday Learning will launch in early October 2026, replacing REBELearn. Workday Performance will follow in early 2027, replacing REBELPerform after our current contract ends in December.

These changes are part of a system-wide NSHE implementation that brings employee learning and performance management into the same Workday platform already used for many HR, payroll, and finance processes.

Workday Learning: Coming Oct. 5

Beginning Oct. 5, employees will use Workday Learning to access required training, professional development opportunities, and their learning history. After this date, the REBELearn module of REBELPeople will no longer be available. If you have any training courses in progress in REBELearn, please finish them before the transition.

To help faculty and staff become familiar with the new system, employees will be assigned an optional Introduction to Workday Learning course. The training explains how to find assigned courses, browse available learning opportunities, launch training, and navigate the Workday Learning application.

Applicable historical compliance training records will transfer to Workday Learning. Employees who are currently in compliance will not need to retake training because of the transition. Existing completion dates will be used to determine when required training must next be renewed.

Employees will access Workday Learning by logging into Workday with their existing ACE credentials and navigating to the “Learning” app under the hamburger menu in the top left corner.

Workday Performance: Coming Jan. 1, 2027

Following the Workday Learning launch, UNLV will transition from REBELPerform to Workday Performance on Jan. 1, 2027.
Workday Performance will bring the performance management process into Workday and integrate employee information directly with existing Workday records. Additional information, training, and implementation details will be provided before the new performance process launches.

Preparing for the Transition

No action is required from most employees at this time.

Employees can learn more about Workday Learning, including access information and training resources, on the Workday Learning webpage. Department training administrators should review the Workday Learning Training Academy for information about required preparation and resources.

Questions about Workday Learning may be directed to Tomas Lee. Questions about Workday Performance may be directed to Catherine Baker.

Human Resources will continue to provide instructions and resources as each implementation date approaches. Thank you for your partnership as we complete these transitions.
