CHEM 250X (Nuclear Science: Innovations, Applications, and Career Paths) is an new course offering for Fall 2026 that would benefit anyone in a science major looking to learn about careers and internships in the nuclear sector. A wide range of fields will be represented, including radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear energy, and national security.

The course is a 1 credit course that meets once a week, and students will hear from a different speaker every week. The course grade is based mainly on participation. This course will also apply to the Foundations and Applications in Nuclear Technology microcredential.
