Each year, the Rebel Voice Commission selects exceptional students to serve on the Student Academic Advisory Board (SAAB). This board assists academic advisors by overseeing the Rebel Success Initiative. Within this group, students research topics for further exploration, provide scholarly insight, get involved in community outreach, assist with academic events and make recommendations for improving academic advising for all students on the UNLV campus.

Rebel Success Initiative

The Rebel Success Initiative is a collective of academically conscious students who seek to enrich the undergraduate academic experience by fostering exchange across disciplines. This interdisciplinary student group will be involved in the planning and implementation of meaningful UNLV events, addressing campus and community issues through service-learning projects, engaging in qualitative and quantitative research projects aimed to bring the student voice to advising, and engaging in meaningful mentorship to promote the sustainability and professional development of the organization and its members.
