Kick Off

Join us on Monday, day one, to meet your Rebel Ready Week leader and other students in your college and major. You will meet new people, make friends, learn your way around campus, and know what to expect throughout the week.

Passport Sessions

During the day on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, there will be passport sessions, which are choose-your-own-adventure sessions that you get to pick based on your interests. Past sessions have included karaoke, bingo, lab tours, rock climbing, zumba, painting, button making and so much more!

College Day

College Day will be on Wednesday. During your college welcome, you’ll meet your dean, academic advisors, and faculty members in your major. You’ll also meet your college peer mentors and other students in your major. This day is focused on your degree program and the opportunities available in your academic college.

Keynote Sessions

Rebel Ready Week will include keynote sessions on Tuesday and Thursday. The topics are student success, health and wellness, and our community. You’ll hear from UNLV faculty, staff, and students who will be integral to your UNLV journey.

Closing Sessions

At the end of each day, you'll join your fellow students for closing sessions, where you'll learn more in-depth about the keynote topics and participate in a group service project on Thursday. These sessions will allow you to dig deeper into the resources and programs available as a UNLV student and build connections with your classmates.

Free Rebel Swag

You will receive UNLV Rebel Swag everyday that you attend Rebel Ready Week. You must be present that day to receive the swag item of the day–which include things like hats, t-shirts, backpacks, and more!

Opportunity Drawings for Scholarships

For every session that you scan into (keynotes, closings, passports, Rebel Relax), you will be entered into daily drawings for scholarships ranging from $250-$5,000 each. We will also do other opportunity drawings for surprise items all throughout the week. You must be present to win.
