Rebel Ready Week

Monday, Aug. 17 – Friday, Aug. 21

Monday, Aug. 17th Check-In and Kick Off

Check in and Kick Off at the Pavilion during your assigned time by college

  • 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.: Exploring, Integrated Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, and Urban Affairs

  • 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.: Fine Arts, Hospitality, Education, and Business

  • 10:45 to 11:15 a.m.: Engineering, Liberal Arts, Sciences, and All On-Campus Residents

  • Kick off is at 11:15 a.m.

  • Passport Sessions and Closing session run from 12:30pm-5pm

  • Rebel Relax evening program Rebel Paradise will be from 5pm-8pm at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center

Tuesday Aug. 18th Student Success

  • Programming will run from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and will include Keynotes, Passport Sessions and Closing Sessions.
  • Rebel Relax evening program Viva Lied Library will be from 4:30pm – 6:30 p.m. in Lied Library

Wednesday, August 19th College Day

  • Programming will run from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. with your Academic College – meet students in your major and college faculty and staff - check in by 9 a.m. at the Pavilion
  • Rebel Relax evening program REB Movie Night will be from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Pavilion

Thursday Aug. 20th Our Community

  • Programming will run from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and will include Keynotes, Passport Sessions and Closing Sessions.

  • Rebel Relax evening program Rebels Forever Rave will be from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Pavilion

Welcome Day Activities

Friday, Aug. 21

Wrap up Rebel Ready Week with our annual welcoming ceremony and academic convocation, UNLV Creates! The event will be hosted at the  Pavilion, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. and the event beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The entire campus community is invited to join us for food, music, and activities from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the UNLV Academic Mall.

Meet with a variety of campus departments to learn about on-campus job opportunities. The fair will run from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Parking on Campus

Parking is free during Rebel Ready Week. We recommend parking in the Tropicana Parking Garage or Cottage Grove Parking Garage in any unreserved space marked “Student.”

Move In

  • Students living on campus can move in before Rebel Ready Week on Sunday, Aug. 16.
