Group Tour Reservations

Requests for group tours are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and may be restricted during peak visitation seasons. Your tour is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from campusvisits@unlv.edu.

Group Tour Guidelines

In order to offer a superior visit experience for your group, we provide the following guidelines:

Group Size

We can accommodate groups up to 100 in size.

Timely Arrival

Prior to your visit, you will receive an itinerary for the day. Please arrive on time. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, we may be unable to accommodate your group. Please contact the Campus Visits phone line at 702-774-UNLV (8658) to update our campus visit coordinator if your schedule has changed.

Cancellation Notice

We require the group to notify the UNLV Group Tour Team at least two (2) business days before the visit at 702-895-5765. If a group cancel with less than two (2) business days’ notice, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas reserves the right to deny future visits.

Chaperones

One chaperone is required for every 25 students and/or guests. Chaperones must accompany the group on the walking campus tour and are expected to monitor the behavior of each student and/or guest during the entire campus visit. Should a group arrive without adequate chaperones, some activities (including the campus tour) will be cancelled.

Weather

The campus visit will include a substantial amount of walking. Please encourage each student and/or guest to dress appropriately with comfortable attire and to bring a bottle of drinking water.

Dining on Campus

If your group would like to dine in one of our on-campus dining locations as part of the visit experience, please notify our campus visit coordinator in the online group tour request form. Your group will be responsible for the cost of the meal, which can be paid by credit/debit card at the dining facility. UNLV has a variety of dining options on campus, however we recommend the Hazel M. Wilson Dining Commons for your lunch. Your group will be charged the posted rate for lunch on the day of your visit. The current group rate per person is $11.00 for breakfast, $11.50 for lunch service and $12.00 for dinner. This rate is subject to change. All outside parties must have a credit card on file to guarantee the reservation and include a 50% deposit payable at the time of confirmation.

Conduct

Please ensure your students and/or guests show respect to the university and its faculty, staff, and students during your group visit. Failure to do so may result in the early conclusion of the visit. The UNLV Office of Admissions also reserves the right to restrict any future visits by a group should conduct be an issue.

Group Tour Parking

Please arrive on campus at least 15 minutes prior to your check-in time to allow time to park your vehicle (if necessary) and walk to the designated check-in location. Detailed parking information will be sent in your confirmation.
