We are committed to making care accessible and affordable for individuals and families across a range of income levels, including through sliding-scale fee options. Using Health Insurance for Counseling/Therapy

We are not currently a provider for any commercial insurance plans.

  • Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Healthcare Solutions Medicaid
  • CareSource Medicaid
  • Health Plan of Nevada (HPN) Medicaid
  • Molina Healthcare of Nevada Medicaid
  • SilverSummit Healthplan Medicaid

Payment Methods

Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Discounts for NSHE Students and Employees

If you are a student or employee with the Nevada System of Higher Education (e.g. UNLV, UNR, CSN, NSC) separate discounted fees are available. Details will be provided when you call for an appointment.

Psychological Assessment and Testing Clinic (PATC) Fees

The cost of psychological assessment services are dependent on the complexity of the assessment completed. The complexity of the assessment will depend on the question(s) you want answered by the assessment.

Using Health Insurance for Assessment/Testing

We accept Medicaid Fee-For-Service and all Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (i.e., CareSource, Molina, Silver Summit, HPN, and Anthem). Some psychological testing referral questions are considered “medically necessary” by insurance companies and as a result, are covered through Medicaid health insurance. However, there are other testing referral questions that are not. We can help you determine whether your assessment could be covered by insurance. We are not currently a provider for any commercial insurance plans.

Sliding Scale and Discounts

If insurance is not an option, we offer a sliding scale for assessment services. Cash or self-pay fees generally range from $300 to $1,000, depending on case complexity and household income. A payment plan option is available. 

Students and employees of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions receive special discounted rates.

Thinkability Grant

Through the generous support of Consolidated Students of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (CSUN), Thinkability Grants are available to UNLV undergraduate students who can demonstrate financial need for psychological assessment services. Typically, these funds cover the full cost of services at the PATC clinic.
