The college is pleased to have the ability, based upon donor funding, to award annual scholarships to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students pursuing a degree with the College of Sciences.
Please note: There are multiple scholarships awarded to students, but students do not need to apply for each scholarship individually. Just complete the general College of Sciences Scholarship Application for consideration. Scholarships do not automatically renew. All students must reapply annually for scholarship eligibility.
Scholarships are awarded based upon factors as established by the private donor and UNLV. These factors for scholarship awarding can include: GPA within a discipline, financial need, ethnicity, major, and gender. Additional scholarship opportunities can be found by visiting Financial Aid & Scholarships.
Students must complete both the College of Sciences application and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
The College of Sciences Scholarship Application portal for the 2021-22 academic year is now closed.
The scholarship application will close on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. If awarded a scholarship, students will be notified via their RebelMail account by late June 2021. Applications will continue to be accepted after March 29, but are not guaranteed to be considered for awarding if all scholarship funding has been awarded.
