Biography
With three decades of experience spanning architectural design and construction management, Ken Faron knows how to translate complex blueprints into successful physical spaces.
A New York native, Ken holds a B.S. in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology. He spent 18 years sharpening his skills at top-tier New York City architecture firms, specializing in construction administration.
Ken transitioned to the owner's side at Pace University (New York City), managing everything from intricate interior retrofits to major ground-up construction.
Ken recently traded the East Coast skyline for the desert, bringing his deep institutional knowledge to Las Vegas to support UNLV Planning & Construction. Recently completed projects include the following:
- Rad Lab Renovation at the Harry Reid Center.
- Fire Protection and Fire Alarm upgrades at Tonopah Residence Hall.
- fMRI installation at the Science & Engineering Building.
- Complete renovation of the Maryland Administration Building 2.
- Renovation of the Warehouse at Flamingo Auxiliary Building 1.
Outside the office, Ken is a passionate advocate for the outdoors, an avid hiker, and a lifetime member of the Sierra Club.
