Hobbies/Interests: plants, succulents and cacti, Mexican soccer, music, concerts, video games (Legend of Zelda in particular)

Favorite Theories, Models, or Research Interests: I am very interested in the Hegelian idea of historical and dialectical materialism. This theory interests me because it posits that societal forces are what moves and drives history forward, and how history moves forward is shaped by the dialectical relationship between those in power and those who are either at its margins or completely marginalized from power.
