Biography

Bobbie Jo Trude loves working in higher education and is most excited about her achievements as an internship coordinator and course instructor. In these roles, she utilizes her expert knowledge of personal development, training, job market trends, and hiring practices to match students with the perfect internship experience to further their academic and career goals.

Previous experience includes human resources, recruitment, and operations management. Her experience, education, and passion provide understanding and motivation as the School of Public Health’s Internship Coordinator. Bobbie Jo is passionate about public health, specifically in the area of exercise and chronic disease management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise and wellness, and a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology from Arizona State University, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. She has a strong understanding of public health challenges, specifically in the areas of movement sciences and health. Bobbie Jo is interested in providing resources and education to help others live their best life. Through her position as an internship coordinator, she is able to work with future public health professionals and help them develop their confidence and career skills to be successful in their careers.
