The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority deadline is November 1st. UNLV’s school code to complete your FAFSA is 002569. If awarded financial aid for Fall or Spring, the aid is disbursed 10 days before the semester starts.

Scholarships

There are scholarships available through private donors and through Consolidated Students (CSUN). The awards are granted for the academic year. Deadlines will be around March & April every year for the upcoming Fall to Spring semesters.

Student Government Scholarships

The Consolidated Students of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (CSUN) offers a variety of scholarships to undergraduate students attending UNLV with varying criteria. CSUN awards more than $100,000 each year to eligible undergraduate students. Check in February every year for the nontraditional and veteran scholarships to open.

Adult Learner Advisory Board Scholarship

  • Nontraditional Student Book Scholarship - In support of National Nontraditional Student week (Nov. 5-9) to recognize the UNLV non-traditional student population. Advisors nominate students in October. Contact your advising center for more information.

Community2Campus Scholarships

Privately funded Scholarships for Nontraditional and Re-Entry Students. Application opens January 2nd. The deadline is the second Friday of April each year.

Jean Nidetch Scholarship

The Jean Nidetch Women’s Center is pleased to offer the Jean Nidetch Scholarship. Awards are available up to $2,500 over fall and spring semesters for four-six continuous years based on the availability of funds. Deadline is the first Friday in May each year.
