Recital Policies and Procedures

Students must register for the course in MyUNLV before requesting a recital date.

To register for undergraduate recital courses you will need to request permission at the following link Permissions Request Form

You must have already passed your piano proficiency course, MUS 167 and all your musicianship courses to enroll in a recital course.

Requests for student recitals for Fall 2025 can be submitted via the Recital Request Form following this schedule.

  1. Doctoral students, Artist Diploma students, and ensembles may begin submitting requests Tuesday, August 5.
  2. Master’s degree students may begin submitting requests Tuesday, August 12.
  3. Seniors may begin submitting requests Tuesday, August 19.
  4. Juniors may begin submitting requests Tuesday, August 26. A list of Junior Recital enrollees will be shared so you can partner with each other for combined one-hour recitals.
  5. Faculty may submit requests any time (via the same online form) for faculty recitals, guest artist recitals and masterclasses, and studio recitals.

Requests will be filled on a first come, first served basis following the schedule above. If you submit a request before your open enrollment date, it will not be filled and you will need to submit a new request on or after your date listed above. Requests are pending until you receive a confirmation email from Google Calendar.
