Marimba Band
Students taking this course explore a variety of chamber music revolving around marimba, including ragtime music, Mexican tunes, contemporary pieces, and African songs. This group has traveled and performed across the United States and overseas to places like Australia.
Steel Band
The UNLV Steel Band performs music of many genres, predominantly the music indigenous to Jamaica and Trinidad. You will develop the ability and skills to play a variety of steel pans, percussion instruments, and drum set.
