Welcome to the Honors Community!
We’re excited to have you join our vibrant, tight-knit community of Honors students, faculty, and staff who want to see you succeed and become the best version of yourself!
A core aspect of your Honors experience will be working with your Academic Advisor. You’ll have a chance to meet your Academic Advisor after completing a New Student Orientation session (see below for more information about NSO).

Next Steps
-
Activate your Rebelmail Account
To activate your Rebelmail, visit the Rebelmail Setup page. Check your RebelMail frequently for important updates. Many students find it helpful to forward Rebelmail to their existing personal email account.
-
Complete Essential Financial Aid Forms
Don’t miss these two time-sensitive steps to make yourself eligible for financial aid. Admitted students must complete two important forms to be considered for financial aid: the Institutional Aid Application (IAA) and the FAFSA. UNLV’s federal code is 002569. For important deadlines related to priority financial aid consideration, please visit the Financial Aid website.
-
Apply for Student Housing
Planning to live on campus? Apply for the floor reserved for Honors College students. We are proud to have a floor in the residence halls specifically designated for Honors College students. To reserve your spot, visit the UNLV Housing website.
-
Register for New Student Orientation (NSO)
The earlier you attend NSO, the earlier we can enroll you in classes! All UNLV students must attend an NSO session. We strongly recommend you register for the earliest possible NSO date. Look for an email from UNLV Admissions with more information about NSO registration. You must accept admission to UNLV to unlock NSO registration in MyUNLV.
Congratulations again on your acceptance into the Honors College. We look forward to connecting with you soon!
