The Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker Award is a platform to provide film students, from partnered schools, the opportunity to create content for the big screen. This year, four finalists will be given a budget of $18,000 to complete a short 50 second film for Coca-Cola. The winning film will screen in all Coca-Cola pouring AMC and Cinemark theaters across the country.

Applying for the Award

For the 2021-2022 cycle, you must submit the following by Friday October 22nd, 2021. The submitting team must consist of a Producer and one other Crew Member such as a Writer, Director, DP, etc. Both members must be current full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate UNLV Film students or alums who graduated December 2019 or later.

  1. A one-page script.
  2. A budget.
  3. A signed application. (The application must be signed by both applicants and by the faculty advisor, Professor Brett Levner.)
