The Lincy Institute invites you to join us Thursday, October 15, 2026 for "Why Nevada Leaves So Much Federal Money Behind." A light reception will be hosted from 3:30 - 4 p.m. with the scheduled event occurring from 4 - 5:15 p.m.
At the event, Lincy Institute Fellow Michael Brown will present new research examining the history, politics, and policies that have caused Nevada to fare so poorly in accessing federal resources for decades and offer recommendations for how Nevada can more effectively interface with federal agencies to reverse this history. The event will also feature a panel discussion with nonprofit and former state and local government leaders.
