Learn how to use AI to strengthen your learning without becoming dependent on it. This interactive session will explore how overreliance on AI can affect critical thinking, problem-solving, and knowledge retention, and why completing assignments doesn't always mean understanding the material. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, we'll demonstrate how to use AI as a tutor, feedback partner, and learning tool by identifying knowledge gaps, requesting guidance, and challenging your reasoning rather than simply receiving answers.
We'll also discuss responsible AI use in academics, recognizing the difference between assistance and overdependence, and strategies for ensuring you can apply what you've learned independently.
