Join us for a virtual information session hosted by the UNLV Office of Graduate Admissions in partnership with the College Programs (TRIO SSS, TRIO McNair, and Rebel Rebound).
We’ll discuss the graduate admissions process, key steps to preparing a strong application, and resources available to help you successfully navigate your journey to graduate school. We’ll also explore the benefits of pursuing a graduate degree in Education, when to apply, and how to balance graduate coursework with the demands of working full-time as an educator. In addition, we’ll discuss ways to plan for and finance your graduate education while continuing to work.
This virtual information session is designed to help you explore whether graduate education is the right next step for you—and show you exactly how to get there.
In this session, we'll cover:
- The Value of a Graduate Degree — personal and professional advantages of pursuing graduate education at UNLV
- The Application Process — what to expect, key steps, and important program deadlines
- Funding Opportunities — assistantships, fellowships, scholarships, and financial aid options available to graduate students
- Application Deadlines & Next Steps — key dates and how to get started on your application
