Take Back the Night

Oct. 30, 2025, 3pm to 5pm

Campus Location

Description

Join the Care Center for our annual Take Back the Night event on Thursday, October 30, from 3–5 p.m. at the Alumni Amphitheater. Held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, this long-standing global movement seeks to reclaim public spaces and affirm every person’s right to feel safe, day or night, on or off campus.

We invite students, faculty, staff, and the community to come together in solidarity against domestic violence. This gathering will highlight victim-survivor support, community advocacy, and collective healing, while empowering attendees with tools to be active bystanders and to break the silence surrounding violence.

The event will feature:

  • An artist showcase
  • Resource fair with campus and community partners
  • Solidarity march through campus to raise awareness and promote safety
  • Free merch and treats!

This event is free and open to the public. Activation Warning: Topics of domestic violence and abuse may be discussed.

We hope you’ll stand with us as we take back the night and work toward a safer, more compassionate community!
